8. Дополнительное оборудование Digium
The PWR2400B can supply the needed power to Digium analog cards mounted with FXS modules when no internal power cables are available from the PC or server.
FXS modules provide ringing voltage and battery to telephones or handsets and require substantial amount of 12V DC power in order to operate properly. The PCI interface on motherboards cannot provide sufficient quantites of this voltage necessary to ring 4, 8 or 24 modules. As a solution, Digium analog cards are mounted with a 4-pin disk-drive or Molex connector on the base board. This connector must be supplied with an internal power connector from the system's power supply if FXS modules are in use.
For systems without available internal 12V power connectors, the PWR2400B is the solution. The PWR2400B provides the 12V DC power to analog interface cards that is necessary to drive FXS modules. FXO modules do not provide ring voltage or battery and thus do not require any external power resources. The PWR2400B, which does not connect to the PCI bus, occupies one server slot and provides two 15" 12V four-pin cables that can be attached to analog interface cards. The PWR2400B is fed power via one or two Digium external power supplies.
A jumper on the PWR2400B allows the two power cables to derive power from either one or two Digium 12V 5A power supplies. When one external Digium power supply is in use, the strap should remain on, and up to 24 FXS ports at a load of up to 5 REN may be supported. In the event that more than 24 FXS ports are necessary, a second power supply may be connected to the secondary input, the jumper must be removed, and then up to 48 FXS ports at a load of up to 5 REN may be supported.
The PWR2400B is intended to be used only with UL Listed Digium analog cards. The PWR2400B is not intended to be powered by any supply other than Digium's own UL Listed power supply.
The Digium® S101I, affectionately known as the IAXy™, takes Asterisk® from the PC to the CPE.
The IAXy provides a single, fully featured FXS interface with an Ethernet back-end, speaking the Asterisk-native IAX protocol, at a highly competitive price. The IAXy is aimed at Voice Over Broadband and Internet Telephone Service Providers. The IAX protocol provides complete NAT transparency, enabling full operation behind NAT and PAT firewalls. This includes the ability to robustly transfer calls between endpoints, allowing on-net calls to be moved off of a service provider's network for better quality and lower cost.
The IAXy supports the following features:
- Auto Upgrade
- Caller ID
- Call Waiting
- Cancel Call Waiting (*70)
- Caller ID on Call Waiting
- Caller ID Disable, Enable (*67, *82)
- Three-way Calling
- Blind Transfer
- Call Parking
- Voice Mail Waiting Indicator (VMWI)
- Mute Rx on-Hook
- Pulse Dial
- Call Hold
